Channel Enablers is seeking an experienced telephone based business development specialist based in  North America.

The successful candidate will be responsible for demand generation; creating opportunities at the top of the Channel Enablers sales funnel through telesales and marketing activities. This is a great opportunity for an experienced, self-motivated sales person who has excellent executive level telephone sales skills and who wants to develop in the role to become responsible for the entire marketing pipeline generation process.

The Channel Enablers Business Development Specialist will report to the Senior Vice President – North America, with dotted line reporting to the Director of Marketing at Miller Heiman.

This position is responsible for demand generation, creating opportunities at the top of the Channel Enablers sales funnel through telesales and marketing activities. The Business Development specialist will work closely with CE field executives and the Miller Heiman inside sales team. While the role is primarily focused on the US market, there will be times when activity in international markets will be required. Experience in selling outside of the US would be an advantage.

Direct Opportunity Creation

  • Generate appointments and selling opportunities through telephone interaction with CE alumni, dormant clients, and targeted new clients.
  • Identify leads by monitoring specific social media discussion groups; primarily but not exclusively LinkedIn
  • Follow up on inbound leads, making the first call and qualifying potential opportunities based on Ideal Client Criteria and the customer’s concept.
  • Follow a disciplined process to maintain and report on the progress of demand generation and status of specific leads and Universe level opportunities.


Marketing Campaigns

  • Create and execute contact campaigns to CE alumni, dormant clients and targeted prospects or referrals :
  • Creating new selling opportunities
  • Enhance the CE brand experience at an individual level
  • Increase client loyalty, referrals, and repeat business
  • Work in sync with Miller Heiman to leverage marketing campaigns that promote Channel Enablers and create opportunities sourced from existing and targeted MH clients.


Likely attributes of a successful candidate

  • High degree of Job Match score on the Predictive Sales Performance assessment
  • Strong effective verbal and written communicator
  • Strong IT skills including the use of social media, MS Office and the use of CRM
  • Strong work ethic, able to be highly productive without high levels of oversight or direction
  • Absence of any call reluctance when making outbound calls or fielding inbound contacts
  • Experienced at selling and marketing over the phone
  • Proactive, self-starting individual, able to take effective action in ambiguous situations
  • Experience interfacing in technology industries, specifically in customer-facing and sales functions
  • Comfort with a professional services (rather than product-centric) solution set. Experience selling sales training will be a strong advantage
  • Experience within the IT sector and with channels is likely to be key to success in this role

Ideally the candidate will be based in Denver Colorado , although other US based locations will be considered, and will be set up to work out of home
